The Glimmer of Venus

Our partnership grows firmer with each libertine embrace,
our bond is strengthened with every potent pleasure we share.
Such thoughts alone make my heart and mind race,
contemplating the beautiful truth of our love deepening along with our desire to dare.

I've learned to be patient, not to push you or act the fool,
I've played that part all too well and it only works against me.
I'm no longer that same silly boy, mouth agape with drool,
no matter what we decide to do, I am your man completely.

But we do not behold the glimmer of Venus
with the passing of each and every night
and our coming glimpse of that celestial furnace
elucidates the brilliance of your light.

I revel in the knowledge of our common yearning,
our wish to worship the goddess of our fantasies.
The sensuous combustion of our passion burning
propels us with powerful thrust toward uncharted seas.

We both lust to fulfill our decadent dream
of adoring her Heavenly Body.
I swell with the urge to explore her as a team,
our consummate form of naughty.

Let's visit our bird of paradise to the beat of our own drum,
we can make eyes while we dance and feel the tickle of her feather.
Only if we roll the dice will we know all the fun that can come,
so let's take this chance because it would be fun to do together.

One with the One

I am.
May I mind the serenity of being.
Help me embrace the divinity of existence.
This thread of being weaves everything together with potential to create, change, and continue,
it's endless.I rejoice in awe.
May I more freely share it.
Help me to remember that wonder is just a word.
There is nothing I can write to describe the feeling,
its experience is beyond language.I convict myself with awareness.
May I have the strength to toe the line.
Help me to be humble but resolute.
That joy felt in honoring others brings honor to myself,
it's all an honor to you.I dissolve in your presence.
May I find my truest form within you.
Help me to accept my fears and my desires.
The unknown holds the greatest treasures,
it's waiting to be found.I empty myself.
May I be further filled.
Help me to grow as I overflow.
Thy will is more than I will ever know,
it's what it will be.

A Democratic Pursuit of Anarchy

Addressing the juxtaposition of majoritarianism and horizontalism as natures of democracy, I think they are both accurate and both end up describing what's wrong with democracy as practiced. That is, systems only democratic in their vote-based system of government. Elections feel fair to us in a very simplistic way. There's nothing essentially just about making decisions about how people live by vote other than the one vote per person part of it. If we vote on how you ought to wear your hair, it doesn't change the fact that it's an intrusion (or invasion to use Benjamin Tucker's terminology). In Anarchy, State, and Utopia, Nozick creates an interesting analogy for society with a joint-stock company where we all own a share in one another that forces the reader to face what it means to vote on the decisions that shape someone else's life. Democracy, when indicating "shared power" exerted directly without State interference, is synonymous with anarchism.…

Why negative interest rates are a good idea.

Interest rates are never a "trivial issue". But first, let me stat that I don't trust the idea of government. It's the system of power that has outlived its feudal birth. Historical "democracies", including our own, built their societies on authority asserted by violence in the form of land expropriation, tribute, and slavery. Government provides violence to enforce injustice at the tip of the pen and the sword. The unjust assertion of absolute authority over any geographical area is how the concept of property, something that is "one's own", has been applied to the Earth. Why would I want to grant this system of telling people what to do and who they have to pay to be allowed in society a money monopoly? I support a negative interest rate policy because credit is the just basis of value in a money, not the right to demand it as rent. The lower the interest rate, the easier it is for people to pay back their loans, increasing the likelihood o…
